Roadmap of Need

The Public School Forum of N.C. and the N.C. Center for Afterschool Programs has released the 2013 Roadmap of Need report. The Roadmap of Need is an in-depth needs assessment to evaluate child well-being. To begin these conversations, a “Path to Progress” meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, 1890 Campus Drive, Raleigh. Scholarship available

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation has opened a new college scholarship for high-achieving, lower-income high school seniors seeking to attend the country’s best four-year colleges and universities. The scholarship will provide up to $30,000 for tuition, living expenses, books and required fees.
