Bridge Club

The Capitol Bridge Club meets to play competitive bridge from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays at Glen Eden Park, 1500 Glen Eden Drive, Raleigh. Membership dues are $1 per person, per meeting.

Grief support group

Grief support group meetings will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. each Tuesday in classroom 1008 at the Wakefield High School Ninth Grade Center, 931 Durham Road, Wake Forest. Senior dance club

Pullen Park invites seniors ages 55 and older to its dance club, held from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Pullen Community Center, 408 Ashe Ave., Raleigh. The club dances to live ballroom music, including tunes such as foxtrot, waltz, swing and Latin. The cost is $7 per person, per week. For more information, call 919-831-6052.

Singles dance club

The Triangle Singles Dance Club, a social club for adults ages 40 and older, will meet from 8:30 to 11 p.m, Saturday, July 6, at Northbrook Country Club, 4905 North Hills Drive, Raleigh. The cost is $5 per person. For more information, visit

A stroke support group will meet from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at WakeMed Rehabilitation Hospital’s Healthpark , 3000 New Bern Ave., Raleigh.

Raleigh Christian Women to meet

Anna Marie Peterson, author of “The Ordered Life,” will address the Raleigh Christian Women’s Connection from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at the N.C.
