Teen to Adulthood to discuss guardianship

Stacy Cash and Ke’pe Harrison, guardianship specialists with The Arc of Wake County, will hold a Teen to Adulthood session on guardianship from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Millbrook Exchange Community Center, 1905 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh. The group is for parents who want to learn about transition services and issues for teens and young adults with disabilities. For more information, call 919-832-8660.

Substitute Teachers Association

The Substitute Teachers Association of Wake County will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Olive Garden, 7805 Capital Blvd., Raleigh. To register, email stawakecounty@gmail.com.

Raleigh Newcomers Alumni Club

Grief support group

Grief support group meetings will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. each Tuesday in classroom 1008 at the Wakefield High School Ninth Grade Center, 931 Durham Road, Wake Forest. Participants will be guided through a series of discussions as well as explore tools to assist them through the grieving process.
