Wake Forest historic home tour
The Wake Forest Historic Preservation Commission and the Wake Forest Woman’s Club will present the biennial Christmas Historic Home Tour from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Thirteen Wake Forest homes and other buildings will be decorated for the holidays and open for viewing as part of the self-guided tour. Merry Mingle fundraising party
The third annual Merry Mingle holiday event is set for 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Marbles Kids Museum, 201 E. Hargett St., Raleigh. The fundraiser will include hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a chance to mingle with marketing, advertising, communications and public relations professionals. Proceeds will benefit the Triangle Spokes Group, a nonprofit that raises money to buy new bicycles for needy children.
