Keys to a Successful Presentation

Cleanup day at Fallon Park

Fallon Park Garden Club will hold a cleanup day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the park, 2121 Noble Road, Raleigh. Meet at the picnic shelter on the Oxford and Beechridge Road intersection. Participants will clean up, prune, pick up trash and possibly do some mulching. Supplies will be provided. Participants 16 or younger must have an accompanying parent. Scarecrow Festival

A free scarecrow festival is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Pullen Arts Center, 105 Pullen Road, Raleigh. Build a scarecrow with provided forms and stuffing materials. Share Fair

Share Fair Raleigh is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday at Shelter 4 at Pullen Park, 520 Ashe Avenue, Raleigh. Enjoy a day of live music, games and interactive exhibits for children. Bring canned goods to be donated to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. A potluck meal will be shared. Admission is free.

Pet-a-Palooza Festival

The Pet-a-Palooza Festival is scheduled from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Lafayette Village, 8450 Honeycutt Road, Raleigh. Leashed pets and their families can enjoy a day of music, fashion, food and entertainment. The event includes Peddle for Paws, an 8 a.m. bike ride with TLC for Bikes to raise money for rescues, and a raffle for prizes celebrating the birthday of Lafayette Village’s own Buddy.
