Mavretic to address Senior Democrats

Ijames to address AARP chapter

The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 10225, is looking for high school artists to participate in the Young American Creative Patriotic Art contest. Northern Wake Optimist Club Oratorical contest
The Northern Wake Optimist Club is holding an oratorical contest on the topic “How my Optimism helps me Overcome Obstacles.” The first place boy and girl will advance to the zone-level competition. From the zone contest, winners will advance to the district level, which has a first prize of a $2,500 scholarship for boy and girl winners. The application and typed speech are due March 30.
