Nicole’s Studio moving on Person
Nicole’s Studio & Art Gallery, a fixture on Person Street in Raleigh for 12 years, is moving – but not too far. The gallery, owned by Nicole Kennedy, is moving from 715 N. Person St. to 719 N. Person St. The new space offers a better opportunity to display the work of the two dozen artists whom the gallery represents, Kennedy said. It will open in early March.

Heart of the Artist Community Art Festival
The 2nd Annual Heart of the Artist Community Art Festival, set for Saturday, April 28, is accepting applications from artists until March 30. Artists may retain proceeds from sales at their booths in the festival at Wake Forest Baptist Church.
Proceeds from food and beverage sales, an art raffle, 25 percent of proceeds from art sold at an “Art on a Mission” booth, and designated donations will benefit hunger relief in the Wake Forest community.
Those interested in exhibiting must complete an application with two samples of work along the theme of “Art on a Mission” or their Christian faith and $25 by March 30. Artists younger than 18 may enter a competition for free. For more information, visit www.virginiatullmusicandarts.org.
