Raleigh artist wins two awards
Nicole White Kennedy, a North Raleigh artist and owner of Nicole’s Studio & Art Gallery, recently won two major national art awards. One of her N.C. beach people scenes won the Alfred and Mary Crimi Award of Excellence at the Audubon Artists National Juried Exhibit hosted by Salmagundi Art Club in New York City. She also won a major award at the 12th Annual American Impressionist Society Juried Exhibit: The Southwest Art Magazine Award of Excellence. Kennedy’s works are on exhibit at the gallery, 715 N. Person St., Raleigh, and at Caffé Luna, 136 E. Hargett St., Raleigh.
