Millbrook coach Clarence Inscore wanted his seniors to enjoy their final home game Friday night and gain some momentum for the playoffs. Mission accomplished on both tasks, as the Wildcats rode the big night of Keith Marshall to a 49-15 win over Enloe.

The Enloe (2-9, 2-5 Cap Eight) defense temporarily derailed those plans in the first half as the Eagles led 7-6 at intermission.

Marshall ran for 89 yards and one touchdown in the first half, then ran for 209 yards in the second half and picked up four more touchdowns on runs of 51, 60, 3, and 54 yards.

"It was a great effort by our defense, but they were out there too long and also we had three opportunities inside the 20 when we didn't get any points," Enloe coach Ron Clark said. "I knew Marshall would get going."

Marshall's 298 yards came on 32 carries. Senior quarterback Jakarie DeBerry passed for 138 yards. Seniors Josh Munroe and Mike Weaver led the Wildcats defense with two interceptions each and Weaver had nine receptions for 65 yards.

"We wanted our guys to go out on the right note tonight and get ready for the playoffs," said Inscore, whose team is 6-5 overall and 3-4 in league play. "We slipped some the last couple of weeks, but played better tonight. Keith had a great game and our whole defensive unit played well."

Enloe senior quarterback John Michael Stewart threw for 271 yards, with touchdown passes of 44 and 72 yards to fellow senior Johnathan Addison.
