The second annual St. Patty's Run Green 8K race is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. Sunday in downtown Raleigh's Moore Square. A portion of proceeds from the event go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event is $30 through Saturday and $35 on race day. For more information or to register, call 919-349-1719.

Members of North Raleigh's Soapstone United Methodist Church are scheduled to stage a fashion show from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the church on Norwood Road to raise money for summer mission trips. The Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail's annual meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the new Haw River State Park north of Greensboro.
